HKD Solutions Ltd. is a family business, based in the UK, with a close connection to the needs and experiences of its customers. The son of our Managing Partner, Heather Ling, has additional needs. It is through living with his daily challenges that inspired us to create our own range of products to make life better. Life in families with additional needs can be challenging enough, without missing the necessary equipment that would make the world of difference.

Vision and Mission
Honoring a Legacy of Care
The desire to create a company which really helps solve problems was driven by the legacy of a family member, Dick Richardson, who was awarded an MBE for services to people with disabilities. He created The Phoenix Youth Club for Disabled in the 1950s to help provide work and social opportunities to people who didn’t have any. He fought stoically for the rights of disabled people when it was almost unheard of. It is Dick Richardson’s strength, courage, and passion that lives on in his family and which drives us on to improve life for those with additional daily challenges. In Dick Richardson’s memory, we continue to strive to educate and provide 6-star customer service to our customers and the health professionals supporting them.
